FAQs

Does Holistic Harmony accept insurance?

  • We do not bill insurance for your office visit. However, if you would like to submit a claim yourself so it can count toward your out-of-network deductible, we are happy to give you the necessary documentation. We kindly ask that you request this information at the time of service. Patients requesting documentation for multiple appointments or the entire year will be asked to pay a small fee.

What is the cost of being a patient?

  • Your first consult consists of going over your medical history, symptoms, and coming up with a treatment plan. The cost for this appointment is $300 for a one hour consult. Holistic Harmony charges $75 for each lab order specific to your symptoms and history on consultation this includes all blood draws kits from functional lab companies. Insurance billing is available by most lab companies, based on the type of testing ordered. Follow up appointments to go over lab testing is charged based on time in 15-minute increments at an hourly fee of $300.

How often do I need to come in for an office visit?

  • As a new patient you will return for lab work and follow up appointments every 3 months, until you are symptom free and feeling amazing. Then appointments can be spaced out up to 6 months apart so you are practicing prevention by coming in twice per year to improve your health and stay on the path to aging gracefully and feeling awesome.

What are bioidentical hormones and are they save?

  • There is confusion about the term 'bioidentical'. Bioidentical hormone preparations are medications that contain plant derived hormones that are the exact chemical match to those made by the human body.

What is Holistic Medicine and how does it differ from Traditional Medicine?

  • Holistic medicine focuses on treating the whole person by identifying and healing the root cause of the symptoms that are occuring in the mind, body and spirit. We focuse on preventative care to keep the patient feeling vibrant at any age. Traditional medicine focuses on treating with pharmaceutical medications, which mask the symptoms and does not promote healing of the whole person. This broken system views the body as a collection of separate parts, each with its own medical specialists which can cause a lack of communication in this sick-care system.
